Exploring the waters!

Kennedy rushed out of Prof. Melody's lab in a hurry and ran to the nearest river. She didn't have a fishing rod, but she didn't want a "fish" Pokemon anyways. So instead, she waited. She just sat along the shore with some food her mother had packed for her. Kennedy thought maybe the smell would lure some Pokemon in, and then she would have a battle.

While sitting along the river, she let out her Tauros. She threw her Pokeball high up in the air and with a beam of white light, her Tauros appeared. Kennedy smiled and went on to talking to herself, while Her Tauros ate some Pokeblocks, and grass near the shore.

The food smell did attract something for the water started to foam and something started to rise! Out from the depths of the water a Shellos appeared! This Shellos was blue and it came form the East Sea! What will you do?

Tauros noticed the Shellos first, making a small grunting noise, just loud enough to warn his partner. "Oh! A Shellos!" Kennedy said to herself with a smile, "just the type of Pokemon I want. How about it Tauros, care for a battle?" Her Tauros pawed the ground in agreement.
"Alright then, Tauros, use Horn Attack on Shellos!" Tauros did what he was told, and in a timely matter too, he charged toward the Shellos and used his Horn Attack!

The Shellos tried to get away but the attack hit and the poor Shellos went flying into the water. A few seconds passed and it got out of the water and attacked with Water Pulse! As the orb of water flew through the air your Tauros stood their waiting for your orders.

"Good hit Tauros, now use Tail Whip, and fast!" Kennedy called out. And Tauros did as she said and used Tail Whip towards the Shellos.
Kennedy wanted this Pokemon, she thought that it would be a good companion and member of her team. "We're not going to give up, are we Tauros?" She asked but it was more of an order.

The Tail Whip caused Shellos to cringe for a moment, but it quickly used Mud Bomb! The attack flew though the air! Tauros heard that you said to never give up and he jumped up as best as he could. The Mud Bomb hit a tree and it bounced back right at Shellos! The tiny orbs of mud pelted the Shellos and it was in a daze. Tauros looked at you waiting for another order.

"Okay Tauros, you're doing great!" Kennedy praised him and went on to give him a new attack, "use your Tackle on Shellos!" Tauros gave out a battle grunt and went on charging towards Shellos...

Tauros hit Shellos with a powerful Tackle and did some serious damage! Shellos was down, but it had a tiny bit of energy left. Tauros looked at you patiently. Now would be the perfect time to make an attempt to capture that Shellos!

"Okay Tauros, I think we've done it." Kennedy said, her voice was even, but inside she was too many emotions to count.
She pulled out a pokeball and looked at the Shellos, "Okay, it's time.." She threw the Pokeball at the Shellos and waited in hopes of catching this new Pokemon.

The Pokeball struck Shellos on it's back and a red light envelped the Pokemon, pulling it into the device. Once Shellos was inside it tried to escape, but the battle was too much for the Sea Slug Pokemon and it accepted that it was caught. Tauros snorted in happiness for he was happy to get a new friend.

Tauros gained a level!

"Yes!" Kennedy called out in happiness. "We caught him, well you caught him Tauros! Good job, buddy!" She ran over to Tauros and gave him a hug, then proceeded to walk over to the pokeball that held her new Pokemon. "Welcome to our team Shellos!" she said and pulled out another Pokeball, "Okay Tauros, return. Time for the Pokecenter."
Kennedy smiled the whole way, thinking how great it was to catch another Pokemon, and have a great addition to her team.
