The Opening Gym

As Mysterion entered the Pinecliff City Gym, he noticed many things. Than he heard a voice telling him to come. So he went to the voice, found the gym leader, and the first gym match was underway, but who would Mysterion use first???

The Gym Leader, Tyrone, began to laugh. "Hahahahahahahahaha, I like your style young Trainer. Now let's get some things straight. If you look at the field you'll notice that my half of the field is sand and your half is solid stone. I may not switch my Pokemon but you can. Now Hippopotas let's show them what we can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he said. The Gym Battle was on!

Knowing that Hippopatos was a Ground type Mysterion said, "Corphish get in there." Corphish walked onto the field. Mysterion followed up by saying, "Use Water Gun and turn his sand into mud so Hippopatos wont be able to move as well, than use Ice Beam to freeze Hippopatos and the mud."

"Hahaha, this is the same strategy that Ichigo Trainer used. Not this time though. Hippopotas roll over and doge both attacks and use Dig before the Ice Beam can hit." Tyrone said.

Mysterion asked Tyrone, "So did Ichigo do this? CORPHISH JUMP IN THE SAND AND USE HEADBUTT. Then follow up by using Water Gun to make it muddy around you. Once that happens just keep on repeating."

Your Corphish attempted to follow through with your commands, but before he could jump into the sand Hippopotas came up with Dig followed by an extremly strong Crunch attack.. Even though your Corphish had a tough shell it took a lot of HP... It then used Sandstorm to make the sand not muddy again. "Ha this is why I love my Hippopotas so much. Even if I don't tell him to attack he still knows what to do. What your next move now Trainer." Tyrone said..

Mysterion just focused his mind with Corphish mind. Than they got on the same wavelength, boosting Corphish's morale. Mysterion than said, "Corphish i know you can do it, use an all out ICE BEAM." With Corphish's morale boosted he was back in action.

Tyrone laughed,"Hahahahaha, psychic connection, eh? It was the same with Ichigo. Now Hippopotas let that Ice Beam hit you and then respond with a Payback attack." Hippopotas did as told and the Ice Beam did some major damage. But the Payback doubled the damage done Hippopotas except on Corphish... Even with the morale boost your Corphish couldn't take it anymore and it fainted.. Which Pokemon will you bring out now.

Mysterion picked up Corphish than said, "K Camerupt it's your time to shine, go in there and us Fire Fang on Hippopatos to burn him." Mysterion was getting very frustrated now seeing his prized Corphish go down just like that. But he would soon learn that Frustration was the key.

The Fire Fang hit Hippopotas and it fainted. Tyrone said,"Hahaha, this is battle to see. Baltoy, GO!!!!" The Baltoy appeared on the field. "Baltoy use Confusion!!!" Tyrone shouted. The Confusion hit your Camerupt and it began to throw itself around the field in a wild frenzy. On one of the throws it hit itself on a large rock and it took some HP from it. With your Camerupt confused what will you do.?

Mysterion said, "Camerupt good job come back." Camerupt did as said and walked back. Mysterion than said, "Gligar its your time to shine. Get in there and use Faint Attack on Baltoy." Mysterion knew however that he still had to watch out for that powerful confusion.

The Faint Attack did some damage. "Baltoy, use Mean Look. Then use Confusion to knock his Gligar out cold!!" Tyrone shouted.. The Baltoy's Confusion hit your Gligar and gave it some serious damage... It also confused your Gligar who then began to do the same thing your Camerupt was doing and this time it accidentlly hit its head on the hard stone floor which also did some more damage... Now that your Gligar can't come back what will you do..

Mysterion yelled to Gligar, "Gligar use the frustration that comes with your confusion to focus on Baltoy than use Faint Attack to knock Baltoy out cold." However Mysterion knew Gligar would faint.

Your Gligar tried its best to focus on the Baltoy but it failed and just hurt itself some more. Tyrone shouted to his Baltoy to use Psychic attack on the Gligar. The powerful Psychic attack hit the Gligar and it fainted.. Now its just you and your Camerupt. What will you do now?

Mysterion picked up Gligar than shouted, "CAMERUPT ITS UP TO YOU GET IN THERE AND USE FIRE FANG." But before Camerupt walked in Mysterion had a flashback from before the gym battle. He said to Camerupt, "Ok when Baltoy decides to use Confusion use your Dig to dodge it." He hoped this plan would work.

Your Camperupt dodged the Confusion and used Dig. As it was coming up it added a little twist into its attack and used both a Fire Fang and Dig. With the two combination attacks the Baltoy fainted. Tyrone laughed "Hahahaha, now that was a battle. You should go try fighting Ichigo sometime, he might put up a real challenge for you. Now since you won I'm giving you the Mountain Badge and the TM Dig."
