Picnic in the park!

After catching her new Pokemon, Kennedy decided to go have a picnic wither her two Pokemon. She found a big patch of clear grass atop a small hill. She let out her two Pokemon, "Go Tauros, go Shellos!" and with a beam of light her two partners stood in front of her.
She gave Taruos a smile and a pat on the head, and went to formally introduce herself to her new Pokemon, Shellos. "Hello Shellos, I'm Kennedy. Tauros and I are very excited to have you on our team." She threw a smile and a wink at Shellos and gave him a warm, friendly hug. Shellos smiled back and gave out an excited cry.
"Well you two, get aquainted, I am going to make some more lunch!" Kennedy said, as she walked over to her pack and pulled out some ingredients. "How about some soup?" Both Pokemon agreed and Kennedy went to cooking some soup for the three of them.

Once the soup was done cooking, and all eaten up, Kennedy asked if the two Pokemon and her wanted to do a little exploring. both Pokemon thought it be a good idea and followed Kennedy near some trees and bushes.

As Shellos and Tauros followed you they sensed something nearby. There was a strange growling sound coming from one of the bushes. Shellos and Tauros started to examine the bush and it growled back at them. Tauros stomped one of his hooves onto the ground and used it's horns to part the leaves on the bush. All of a sudden a grey blur leaped from the bush and landed in the grass. It was a Poochyena!
"Arooo!" the Pokémon cried.
Shellos and Tauros looked at you and waited for your orders.

"Alright, a Poochyena.. we can do this!" She pulled out a Pokeball, "Tauros, return please." And with Tauros safely inside his ball, she looked at Shellos. "Well, I think it's time for a battle, what do you think?"
Shellos gave a confirming nod and awaited her demand.
"Alright, Shellos, use your Mud Bomb attack on the wild Poochyena please!" Shellos immediately went into action firing off a mud bomb attack towards the Poochyena.

The Mud Bomb made a direct hit and the Poochyena stumbled backwards from the attack. Poochyena regained it's balance but the mud from Shellos go into it's eyes. Poochyena was temporarily blinded. It came towards Shellos with a Bite attack, but it missed! Shellos, with a proud look on it's face, looked at you and and waited.

"Good job Shellos!" Kennedy applauded, and continued, "Now, try your Water Pulse attack!" Kennedy watched as her new Pokemon listened to her. She was proud to have caught such a proud Pokemon.
She watched Shellos' attack grow closer to the wild Poochyena.

Poochyena was still blinded from the Mud Bomb attack and was struck by a powerful Water Pulse. Poochyena was blasted into a tree. When the Pokémon got up it tried to see through the mud that was still in it's eyes. The Water Pulse cleaned some of the mud out and Poochyena ran forward and used a Bite Attack. It's teeth chomped down on Shellos's tail!

"Alright Shellos, Don't you worry, we can do this!" Kennedy called out, her confidence was shining off of her. "As soon as Poochyena lets go of your tail, use your Ice Beam attack, but aim for it's legs." Kennedy had this all thought out. With Poochyena not able to move, it would be harder for it to have close combat battle.
This would show Shellos that there is a way around everything. As we both knew this Poochyena was fast, much faster than Shellos. Kennedy had established a way around this.
Shellos did was it was told, and had aimed an ice beam for Poochyena's feet.

Poochyena let go of Shellos after the Ice Beam struck it's legs. the ice quickly froze Poochyena in place. All of a sudden Poochyena use Fire Fang to melt the ice around it's feet! once he broke out of the ice he jumped towards you, but something came over the Pokémon. It came close to you and brought it's head down. It was offering to allow you to pet it.

Kenendy stood, speechless. She knelt down on her knees and offered her hand towards the wild Poochyena. "Well, this was all just a game for you, wasn't it?" Kennedy laughed, and returned Shellos to it's pokeball, "You were great Shellos, thank you." She put the ball away in her pack and continued to sit with the wild Pokemon.
"So," Kennedy began, "you're a tough Pokemon." She continued to pet and smile to the Poochyena. "Want to be a part of my team?" She asked, but was a little nervous that the Pokemon would deny her offer. Needless, she pulled out an empty Pokeball from her pack and showed i to the Pokemon, "So, what do you say? You in?"

Poochyena looked at the Pokéball and then back at you. A few minutes passed by. Poochyena tilted it's head and then jumped onto your shoulder and proceeded to lick your face! Then Poochyena pounced on the Pokéball and it was beamed inside. The Pokéball wobbled for a bit and then it stopped. Congratulations you caught a Poochyena!

Kennedy smiled at the new pokeball that held her new Pokemon. She could only imagine how far she will go now. "Well guys, let's get acquainted!" She threw all three pokeballs into the air and out they came! Tauros, Shellos and Poochyena! She smiled at them all and let them get acquainted.

WHile this was happening, Kennedy packed up her bag, made space for the new Pokwball and thought about her first gym. Well, let's do this!" she said to herself in almost a whisper. She returned each Pokemon to it's Pokeball and began to walk off into the distance.
