Will this be Sams first badge?

Now Sam did enter the city Pinecliff city! Ralts was full of expectation just like Sam was. They headed to the gym and now stood outside it and Sam said to Ralts, "Maybe we gets our first badge today." Ralts answers by saying its name and they both steps inside the gym. Sam gives a bit of food to Ralts for some extra strenght. They walks a bit inside...

"Hello there young Trainer!" A a booming voice called out. "I'm Tyrone and welcome to my Gym. We will only use two Pokémon each. You may switch Pokémon in the middle of a battle, but I can't switch. Get ready for my Ground Type Pokémon are tough!"

Sams puts away the pokemon were starly is and lets ralts take some stepps infront of him. "Ok, lets battle!" Sam sais and now the fight would began. He waits for the gym leader to take out his pokemon!

"Hahaha!" Tyrone laughed. "I like your attitude young Trainer! Can you handle this Pokémon.
Tyrone grinned and pulled out a Pokéball. He then tossed it into the middle of the field.
"Go Hippopotas!' Tyrone cried as the Pokéball opened up.
Your Pokédex started to speak as soon a Hippopotas appeared on the battle field.
"Hippopotas the Hippo Pokémon. This Pokémon hates to get wet. It also shrouds itself in sand to ward off germs," the Pokédex said.
"Now you may make the first move!" Tyrone said to you.

Sam now prepares his moves and says to Ralts, "Use growl to scare it a bit and then use confuson!" Ralts growls high for his size and then Ralts stands looking at the hippopopas and does a confusion. Will it miss or hit?

Hippopotas was scared by the Growl and it cringed in fear. Ralts's Confusion attack hit and did some damage.
"Hippopotas get up and used Rock Tomb!" Tyrone ordered.
"Hippo-Potas!" the hippo Pokémon cried out as large boulders came out of the ground underneath Ralts's feet. The boulders came up and poor Ralts was caught in the rocks.
"What are you going to do now?" Tyrone asked.

Sam screams to make Ralts hear what he is going to say, "Ok, Try to get out with a quick attack!" And from the boulders a high, "BOOM!" came from them. It did not work, or at least it did not look like it did work. So just to try it Sam screams, "Try it one more time!" to ralts. If this did not work he did not knew what to do but also, what would Tyron do?

Ralts struggled and struggled. All of a sudden Ralts saw that you were doubting your self. Then Ralts gathered up all of it's strength and used a Confusion attack, even though you didn't tell him. The rocks started to rise into the air and Ralts tossed them at Hippopotas. The boulders closed in on the hippo Pokémon and it was caught by it's own Rock Tomb!
"Well this just got interesting, hahaha!" Tyrone laughed.

Sams hope did rise. "Nice!" He said to Ralts. "Now, use quick attack and before you reach the stones use confusion to lift them up!" Sam said and did hope Ralts could do that. If not, maybe Ralts would realise it and avoid to run in to the stones or maybe he will not...

"Ralts lifted up the stones again and hit Hippopotas with a Quick Attack. Then Ralts let the stones go and Hippopotas was trapped again.
"My Hippopotas can't use any of his attacks. Oh what will I do..." Tyrone said.
Ralts looked at Tyrone with a curious look.
"Oh that's right, use Sandstorm Hippopotas!" Tyrone said.
"Hippo-Hippo!" the hippo Pokémon cried as sand started to fly around.
Ralts was buffeted by the sandstorm!

Ralts did fly away by the wind and knocks in to a rock. She falls to the ground and was hurt. "Use confusion to clear the air a little!" Sam said and Ralts did that. Due to the size of the sand corns she could not take away everything and if she would move she would not be able to clear the sand storm. Now Sam and Ralts could do nothing and the only choise was to wait for Tyrones next move.

"Use your Rock Tomb again!" Tyrone cried.
Hippopotas launched more boulders but the attack missed!
"Well, this just gets better and better," Tyrone said with a snicker.

"Try to run through the sandstorm with quick attack!" Sam said to Ralts and Ralts started to run, slowly. Soon he was close into hippopas and did use quick attack on him but it was weak. But maybe the sandstorm would stop...

Ralts's Quick Attack made its mark and Hippopotas was knocked to the ground. It tried to get up but instead it fainted!
"Good job Hippopotas," Tyrone said as he pulled out a Pokéball, "Now return"
Once Hippopotas was returned to it's Pokéball the sandstorm stopped.
"Well you have one more Pokémon to face, hahaha!" Tyrone said. "Go Baltoy!"
Baltoy appeared on the field and started to spin around and around, showing off it's skill.
"Now what will you do young Trainer?" Tyrone asked.

Ralts was tired and almost fainted. There was no way he could win. So Sam says, "Ralts come back" And Ralts walked away from the fighting area. "I chose you, Spiritomb!" Sam then said and the spiritomb came out from the pokeball. It did start to laugh and waited on Sams commanding. "Use shadowball" Sam said. A dark ball started to create in front of Spiritomb and Sam did take up the pokedex to get some facts about Baltoy.

"Baltoy the Clay Doll Pokémon. Baltoy moves by spinning on it's foot. Some Baltoy spin on their heads," your Pokédex says.
Spiritomb's Shadow Ball makes a clean hit on Baltoy and it starts to spin like a top.
"Use Rock Tomb!" Tyrone called out.
Baltoy spun and hurled boulders at Spiritomb, but it was a Ghost Type Pokémon and it slipped through the boulders with no problem.
"Hahaha! A tricky Pokémon you have there, Trainer!" Tyrone laughed.

Spiritomb was a great pokemon in this battle. Sam did think he would win. But the match is not over yet. "Spiritomb, use pursuit!" Sam says. Now, would Baltoy have an move that did work against ghost pokemon or was the victory already sams?

The Pursuit attack hit and Baltoy fell down. It almost got up but the battle was enough for the strange looking Pokémon. Baltoy fainted!
"Baltoy you did good, hahaha!" Tyrone said as he returned his Pokémon to it's Pokéball. "Well rules are rules. Sam I award you with the Mountain Bagde!"



"Along with your new Badge I will give you this TM or Technical Machine. This TM contains the move Dig. Well Congrats Sam, and thank you for a wonderful battle! Hahaha!" Tyrone laughed as he handed over the Badge and the TM containing Dig.

Happily Sam takes the badge and the TM. "Thanks" He says. And pick up the pokeball and force Spiritomb in to it after he had laugh over the victory. He puts the pokeball in the rucksack. And starts to walks against the exit, with Ralts in his arms. The first badge was his and now he would just looking for more pokemons before next gym. And maybe find a friend to join his jurney...
